Patrick Bellot is a Director with Phoenix Management Services. As part of the Phoenix team, he has participated on more than 60 engagements where Phoenix advised, managed, or raised capital for companies in both the public and private sectors.
Mr. Bellot has held advisory as well as interim managerial finance roles where he developed budgeting and forecasting tools, managed liquidity, negotiated with creditors and capital providers, and executed complex restructuring initiatives.
Furthermore, Mr. Bellot has participated in the successful execution of more than $120M of refinancing and asset sale transactions both in and out of court.
Prior to joining Phoenix in 2014, Mr. Bellot was employed in a variety of corporate finance roles for a high-growth multinational pharmaceutical company.
Patrick is a Cum Laude graduate from Suffolk University where he earned his B.A. in Finance. Patrick holds his series 79 license through FINRA.
Restructuring Advisor, Ecommerce Retailer: Served as interim treasurer and the head of FP&A for a $400M ecommerce Company; managing liquidity, leading all forecasting activities, and aiding in negotiations with the Company’s secured and unsecured creditors.
Restructuring Advisor, Publicly-Traded Health and Wellness Company: Determined the weekly cash requirements to bridge a sale or the recapitalization of the business through a Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and §363 sale process.
Restructuring Advisor, Distributor of Pet Products: Built a multi-year budget model with sensitivities to illustrate the financial impacts of proposed operational changes, assumed all liquidity forecasting and reporting duties, and led work-streams on multiple initiatives.
Financial Advisor and Investment Banker, Master Distributor of Industrial Goods: Developed a report on the root causes of the Company’s liquidity crisis and counseled the ownership group and secured creditors on the risks of injecting more capital into the Company.
Financial Advisor, Unsecured Creditor’s Committee / Liquidating Trustee, Manufacturer of Residential Flooring: Led the investigation into potential preference transfers leading up to bankruptcy and the detailed reconciliation of $180M of creditor claims.
Advisor, Importer and Wholesaler of Home Décor: Developed a fully integrated budget model (profit & loss, balance sheet, GAAP cash flow) for a $50M importer and wholesaler of home décor.
Advisor, Precision Metal Bender: Developed a liquidity forecasting model for a $120M precision metal bender.
Advisor, Precision Saw Manufacturer: Developed a 13-week cash flow for the $20M foreign Subsidiary of a U.S. based precision saw manufacturer.
