Busy 2021

• Phoenix’s commitment and dedication to our clients was front and center during the first five months of the year as we assisted 25+ clients across our four service groups – Phoenix Management Services, Phoenix Transaction Advisory Services, Phoenix Capital Resources, and Phoenix Growth Services.

Awards, Recognitions, and Certifications

• Rick Szekelyi, Managing Director at Phoenix Management Services, has been awarded the designation of Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) from the Turnaround Management Association. Rick has more than 30 years of executive management and advisory experience working with companies facing challenges from various causes, including fast growth, economic downturns, inadequate capitalization, changing industries, and operational deficiencies.
• Marc Sullivan, Managing Director at Phoenix Capital Resources, has earned his Series 79 and has become a licensed Investment Banking Representative with FINRA. Marc is a financial leader with more than 25 years of experience managing and advising clients on complex transactions and situations.

• Michael Jacoby, Senior Managing Director, authored an article titled “Reflections of a Restructuring Advisor – One Year into the Pandemic” for ABL Advisor. The article takes a look back on the past 12 months of the COVID-19 pandemic and shares some observations from recent roles as Restructuring Advisor, Investment Banker, and Independent Director.
• Phoenix has authored a blog titled “What Business Leaders Should Focus on in the New Year.” The blog discusses what business leaders should focus on in the New Year after a challenging 2020.
• Phoenix has authored a blog titled “Making Work-from-Home Work for Your Business.” The blog discusses the importance of taking a strategic approach for continued organizational success.
• Marc Sullivan, Managing Director has authored an article “Lower for How Much Longer.” The article explores the fundamentals of the oil market, bankruptcy in the oil and gas exploration and production industry, the current landscape for funding in the industry, as well as the outlook as it relates to further distress in the industry.
