PHILADELPHIA (April 10, 2008) —- Turnaround advisory and investment banking firm Phoenix Management Services has promoted Mike Gaul to Vice President and Mike Fuller to Assistant Vice President. In addition, Greg Felix has joined Phoenix as an Analyst in the firm’s Chadds Ford, PA office.
Mr. Gaul has been with Phoenix for over five years. He has extensive experience in many diverse industries working in a multitude of corporate environments in the areas of turnaround management, financial forecasting, cash management and corporate administration. “Mike has shown excellent business judgment benefiting our turnaround and capital advisory clients,” states Brian Gleason, Managing Director and Shareholder. “Further, his proactive style and hand-on approach have been a welcome addition to our client’s resource team as they work through their transitional issues.”
Since joining Phoenix, Mr. Gaul has served several interim management roles and as Financial Advisor in many of his engagements. Prior to joining Phoenix, Mr. Gaul was an equity research analyst at FleetBoston Robertson Stephens, in San Francisco. Before that, Mr. Gaul was a senior credit analyst in the Specialty Finance Group of Fleet Bank. Mr. Gaul began his banking career at Sanwa Bank, of Los Angeles, CA. Mr. Gaul graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
Mr. Fuller has been with the firm for more than a year and has been instrumental in Phoenix’s growth and development of the Boston marketplace. “Mike has done an outstanding job in bringing proven results for our turnaround advisory and capital advisory clients. Additionally, he has built a reputation for financial and managerial excellence,” states Jim Fleet, Managing Director and Shareholder.
Since joining Phoenix, Mr. Fuller has served in interim Controller roles, a Financial Advisor role in a sale transaction and other cash management and financial analysis support roles. Prior to joining Phoenix, Mr. Fuller was CEO/CFO of York Manufacturing, Inc., of Sanford, ME. Mr. Fuller began his career at Fidelity Investments in Boston, MA. He graduated from Bentley College in Waltham, MA with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.
In his role as Analyst, Mr. Felix will work with Phoenix’s turnaround and capital advisory clients to analyze business operations, create cash analyses and financial forecasts, assist with due diligence services and assist with client management.
Prior to joining Phoenix, Mr. Felix was a commercial loan workout officer and a loan recovery representative for Wilmington Trust Company in Wilmington, DE. Other positions for Mr. Felix include Co-Founder, President, CEO and Co-Managing Director for several early stage companies as well as a registered representative for insurance related companies. Mr. Felix graduated Magna cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Drexel University and an MBA in Business Administration from Temple University.
