Mark Karbiner Named Vice President at Phoenix Capital Resources

PHILADELPHIA (August 21, 2007)—Capital advisory firm Phoenix Capital Resources has promoted Mark Karbiner from Senior Associate to Vice President. Mr. Karbiner has been with the firm for more than four years and has been instrumental in Phoenix Capital’s growth and success working with its middle market clients. “Mark can handle the tough deals that Phoenix Capital is known for, from analyzing financials to dealing with the various constituents, from managing clients to closing transactions. Mark has proven repeatedly that he has what it takes to provide value for our capital advisory clients,” states Vince Colistra, Managing Director and Shareholder.

In his role as Vice President, Mr. Karbiner will advise middle market companies on a wide range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, re-financings, restructurings, capital raising, recapitalizations and auctions in the context of a bankruptcy.

Prior to joining Phoenix, Mr. Karbiner was an analyst in the Investment Banking Group of Fleet Securities in Philadelphia and worked as an analyst for the boutique investment bank Howard, Lawson & Co. located in Philadelphia.
