Phoenix is engaged to provide insight to the Board of venture capital investors in support of their continued investment in a leader of artificial intelligence.
Phoenix’s client is a leader in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning that understands human communications and behaviors. The Company utilizes AI to analyze text and audio communications, break down analytics silos, and equip surveillance professionals to conduct risk mitigation, principally in the financial and healthcare verticals.
The venture capital-backed Company’s Board of Directors requested Phoenix to provide an independent assessment of the Company prior to a new round of funding. The assessment was intended to review/validate management’s plans, identify any additional areas of concern, identify additional initiatives for consideration, and to potentially provide assistance in implementing and/or monitoring some of these activities and/or initiatives. Phoenix interviewed more than 40 Company representatives as part of its assessment.
Phoenix’s assessment provided valuable insight to management and the Board, and provided the framework for the Board to refine certain operational goals and to better monitor performance. The new round of funding was successful, and the Company continues its torrid growth.
