Ken Doran presents insights from over 30 years of experience in a variety of challenging operating and financial roles in the public accounting and healthcare sectors. In addition, has assisted same client with the divestiture of approximately twenty (20) divestitures valued at less than $1.1B.
  • MedCath, Inc., Charlotte, NC. Interim Chief Financial Officer for facility that was eventually sold to Carondelet Health System which is part of Ascension Health System, St. Louis, MO.
  • Health Personnel Options. Cincinnati, OH. Interim Chief Financial Officer for bankrupt nurse staffing company that was restructured and sold to On Assignment Staffing Company.
  • Option Care, Inc. Chicago, IL. General Manager responsible for the operational and financial management of the Cincinnati office of Option Care Enterprises, Inc. Office consists of two divisions, Infusion Therapy and Home Health. With 125 employees and $12.0M in annual net revenue, the Cincinnati office was the largest company owned office within Option Care Enterprises, Inc.
  • Skilled Care Pharmacy, Cincinnati, OH. Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer. Responsible for the entire financial management component including financial reporting, strategic financial planning, budgeting, outside auditor interaction, treasury, forecasting and related analysis for this rapidly expanding company.
  • Omnicare, Inc. Cincinnati, OH. East Coast Regional Chief Financial Officer for company that was acquiring and consolidating Long-Term Care Institutional Pharmacies throughout the United States.

Prior Experience

Prior to Phoenix, Mr. Doran worked in the Long-Term Care Institutional Pharmacy industry in the role of Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer and in the Acute Care Hospital industry in increasingly responsible Financial Management positions. This experience involved financial and operational management of both publicly held and privately owned companies.

Education/Affiliations

Mr. Doran obtained his Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati. While at UC, Ken participated in the Professional Development Co-Op program working with the largest Regional CPA firm.

Mr. Doran is a Certified Public Accountant and a Member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
