Brian Gleason and Martha E.M. Kopacz Author Article on Feasibility in Municipal Restructurings

Brian Gleason, Senior Managing Director and Shareholder at Phoenix Management Services and Martha E. M. Kopacz, Senior Managing Director at Phoenix Management Services, have authored an article for the ABF Journal May/June 2015 edition. The article titled “Feasibility in Municipal Restructurings Recent Rulings from the City of Detroit” discusses feasibility in Chapter 9 cases, departures from Chapter 11 and obstacles in interpretation prior to the City of Detroit’s bankruptcy. Phoenix Management Services was called upon as the independent in evaluating the feasibility of the City of Detroit’s restructuring plan.
