Phoenix performs an operational assessment, serves as interim CFO, and restores the performance of a building contractor.
Phoenix’s client was a $3 million privately held building contractor based in New Jersey.
As a result of poorly bid contracts, labor inefficiencies, and reliance on a limited customer base, the Company was incurring losses.
Phoenix Management Services initiated an operational assessment and helped the Company develop a focused cost accounting and bidding system, while it also revamped its marketing program. This allowed the Company to expand beyond its traditional customer base. Phoenix also assumed the interim role as CFO and implemented cost controls for each of the Company’s ongoing contracts. The Company’s cash flow was restored and its performance improved dramatically.
